Warfriends is a game all about frenetic, multiplayer gun-toting action. As the name implies, it's best played with friends. You can have tactical one-on-one duels or join your friends in fighting against other teams of friends. Beneath somewhat cutesy bobble-headed graphics, you'll find tons of ways to make things blow up!

Live fast, but not too fast

Warfriends has excellent core gameplay, particularly for the platform you'll likely be playing it on. You can choose a number of different weapons and call in choppers, tanks and other land and air vehicles to fight your opponents. Some options are only present in one-on-one battles against friends, and some are only present in squad battles, but fortunately, both game modes are fun and are very reliable as long as you have wi-fi. The game's main problem is that there are lots of ads from screen to screen, and that though you don't need microtransactions to keep playing, it's actually strategically tough to keep playing without spending money on the game.

Overall, Warfriends is free to try and free to play, so if you like the idea of a shooter that'll let you have fun with friends and try out different ways of destroying your enemies, you should start here. The problems with the game will only really arise if you like it enough to keep playing it, and by then they're easier to overlook!
